For this reason, many women are now choosing to birth “outside the system” where ultimately,
you have complete ownership over your birth.
Our culture though, holds on to so much FEAR around birth,
there are so many “what if’s”.
and we’ve been made too feel like this is a reckless and dangerous choice.
But here’s the thing…

The reality is…
staying home and giving birth without a medical profession can feel like a really scary choice, especially if you’ve never given birth before.
There’s a level comfort in having someone with experience by your side, someone who understands birth, who can guide you and reassure you along they way.

Hello beautiful woman
My name is Jennifer. I am a homebirthing, unschooling mama of four and a wife. I have a masters degree in Acupuncture, am a registered acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicines and Acupuncture, a certified advanced energy healer, and a graduate of the radical birth keeper school with the Freebirth Society.
After my first baby was born, my passion for birth and serving women was awakened.
I thought my path was midwifery school.
At the time I was already in school to become an acupuncturist and it just didn’t work out like I had planned.
Time passed and after two more babies with midwives, my eyes opened even more to the industry and the failures of midwifery within the system and I was drawn to having a pregnancy and birth completely outside the system.
My fourth pregnancy was the most relaxing and stress free pregnancy and birth,
no unnecessary worry
purely tuning into my intuition and my body.
I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy in my bathtub, with only my husband and mother present, in just over 3 hours while my kids were sleeping.
This experience drove my passion even more, and now I am excited to support the powerful women of my community, who feel called to grow and birth their babies in their power, their way, in the absence of any medical provider or health professional.
